Yes - it is true. The Cleveland Brew Shop is moving! Our new home will be in the historic Brownhoist Building in the St. Clair – Superior neighborhood!
We thought it would be helpful to put together a little FAQ about the move. If you have additional questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
Why are you moving? There are several reasons, but the main one is cost savings. Ohio City is expensive, and prices are not coming down. Moving into a non-traditional storefront in a less expensive neighborhood will save a lot of money and allow us to invest that money back into the business.
When are you moving? The current plan is to be open in the new space by August 12, 2025. Our two leases are going to overlap with the hope of having as little closed time as possible. Additional details will be communicated when we get closer to the date.
What is the address of the new location? 4403 St. Clair Avenue – It is approximately 10 minutes away from our current location via I-90. There is a dedicated parking lot for the building off of E. 45th.
Are you changing what you currently offer? Nope! Plus, we plan to start slowly carrying even more goodies for you to experiment with!
Are you still hosting classes, homebrew club meetings, and events? Yes, yes, and yes! The new space has plenty of room for classes and club meetings. In addition, the building has ample additional space (both indoors and outdoors) for us to hold events like the Oktoberfest Party & Homebrew Competition!
